"You can not be unhappy when you have this: the smell of the sea, the sand beneath your fingers, the air, the wind.", even for a little, romantic robot. Even if following your dreams is not what was meant for you. Even if it will rust you. Finito is a story we have to learn from, it is a story of self-care, of dedication, a real love story.

Awesome CGI animation (especially the shaders!), message is kinda rough, when you think about it, but still. Really strong entry.

The robots with the printing press heads is a bit of genus. The surfing shots are really well done. The concept that doing what you love and what makes you happy is killing you and making work impossible is a strange message but very strongly stated.

Cute and super nice idea. 3D execution wasnt perfect all the time but generally both thumbs up.

Finito looks visually slick and mixes the cute robot design nicely with realistic shaders. The story touches on deeper issues of risk versus life goals, and how much we are willing to do to live our dream?

Beautiful done, love the robots and a great idea too. Very professional short, the lighting, photography, animation, and textures too. One of the best for sure. I believe the team is not students. Routine vs romanticism, a deep idea of how to live your life even assuming responsibilities.

The visual quality of this film was excellent as well as the story telling. The creative visual choices kept the emotional expressions on the characters in a very simple but effective way. The editing and use of camera angle was interesting and made the viewer feel engaged to the characters as well. This heartfelt film 'Finto' has warmth and emotion while not losing technical qualities throughout the film.
